Adventures at Steamboat Lake!!

Happy wonderful Wednesday everyone! Today, Nicole and I took the kids up to Steamboat Lake for a few adventures. Since neither Nicole or myself have ever been to the marina at the lake, we were both just happy to have found it :) We also found a fun little trail to explore with the kids. At the end of the trail, we found two young gentlemen hunting for crawdads! The kiddos really loved watching these guys so we stayed and even helped them catch one! I thought it was interesting that they were using hot dogs as bait, but the preschoolers told me that's normal :) After our hike, we went down to the lake for some water wading! I apologize to the parents because even though I asked the kids not to get too crazy in the water, they still did!!! But everyone had so much fun, Nicole and I couldn't bring ourselves to ask them to stop! They can't wait for water day tomorrow! Please bring your child's swimsuit and a towel to dry off!
