Alone Space

Sticking with our "Building" theme for this week, I talked to the preschoolers today about alone spaces. We've briefly talked about this in the past, but I wanted to revisit the topic again today. I got out the pictures of the kids' alone spaces from weeks ago and we added new things to them. I asked the preschools what are your favorite things in your alone spaces, what is the best part about being alone, and when do we like to be alone? I'm always amazed by their imaginations! Kerri Ann and I have decided to build an alone space just for the preschoolers somewhere within our classroom. So, we also discussed places that would work best for being alone. I'm really excited to get this space built, but even more excited to see these kids working together to build it!
