Biking at Steamboat Lake!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! Today at school, we traveled to Steamboat Lake for some hiking and bike riding! I thought the kids rode their bikes quickly around the playground at school, but they showed me how fast they can really go today! They really loved racing their friends on bikes and on foot. The younger children really enjoyed picking flowers and making "soup" out of them :) My favorite soup was the chicken and dumplings! We also brought our lunches along so we could have a picnic outside! While dining on our food, we saw a deer across the lake also eating their lunch! Tomorrow we plan to take the kids back to the lake for a nature lesson with Eric! Can't wait!!!
