Explorations with clay.

Good afternoon preschool families. Today the children experimented with clay. They used different objects from around the school to see what kinds of patterns they made in the clay, as well as the usual clay tools. Shells, Popsicle sticks, straws, a star stamp, spruce cone, bubble wands and of course fingers :) We also took a hike before lunch to visit "Grandma Willow". This 100+ year old tree was a real treat to meet. The veteran preschoolers enjoyed telling me all about her!! Christa took some pics if you would like to peek at the toddler daily blog.
