Hello everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! The last few days have been busy for Miss Christa, Kerri Ann and I. We were lucky enough to travel to the Boulder Journey School and learn so many new things! We spent a lot of time in their classrooms observing the different teaching strategies. I  took a lot of great ideas home with me to implement in our preschool classroom.
One thing we've been working on for a few weeks is our "alone space". I wanted to revisit this topic today to get a better idea of what the children wanted to have in their alone space. One of things I really noticed at the Boulder Journey School was that they use technology a lot through out their classroom. So I wanted to use the computer to show them pictures of actual alone spaces. We compared different things and decided they wanted a tree house themed alone spot. They also started a list of things that they wanted to have in their space. It surprised me how very specific they were. I'm so excited to get this space built!!
