By: Miss Michelle Happy hump day everyone! In preschool today, we looked at a book that showed pictures of houses in Africa. First we located Africa on a globe because I wanted to show them how far away it was from us. After reading the story and looking at all the pictures in the book, I thought it would be fun for the preschoolers to make their own houses. I offered them paint, paper and popsicle sticks to build with, but when that got boring, we used larger equipment. Check out our pictures. We had another great day here at school!

Delia's Papa just got back to New Hampshire from being in Africa for a month! Maybe some day when we are visiting we could come and show pictures and tell the children more about Africa. He goes to Rwanda to teach several times a year.. Rwanda is one of the smallest countries in Africa and is often called the heartbeat of Africa because of it's location.
