Making "Frozen" Snow

After a busy, productive day collaborating in the community play room we headed to the studio. We used blue glitter water and eye droppers to color and melt playground snow. One of the little girls coined it "Frozen" snow. I hadn't thought of it that way but her observation had all the children captivated. I find it so interesting to see how the children navigate and process art projects. There perspective is always so fresh and insightful.
