Preschool Fun!

My goodness this week has been filled with fun and its only the second day! So far, we have created some beautiful and very colorful salt crystals which the class immediately started sorting, counting and examining on the light table! We started work on our bear cave and it is in the classroom for now, although we plan to build on it in the next few weeks! 

The most exciting time of the week so far has been Miss Kathy's first P.E. class. We talked about animals, read some stories, sang, danced and then went outside to play some fun nature games. We played squirrel tag, hop "scratch" (hopping on bean bags), toss the frog (into the bucket) and more! it was so fun. She will be coming Wednesdays and Thursdays for the next few months. We plan to join the charter school peers on Thursdays after they have a chance to do some of their own planning.
