Snowy Week!

This week has been really fun! Besides the waste deep powder outside, the class excitement has taken off in regards to our early literacy projects! We have been playing alphabet bingo, molding letters out of play dough and tracing letters in shaving cream to name a few things!
We also noticed that our fish tank water garden plants started growing over the weekend and we have been measuring them. This kiddos are using a ruler to guesstimate the height of the wheat grass and then we measure it and graph it.They have been excited to see the progress, in just three days it went from 1" to almost 6"!

We also got a hamster this week, by popular vote, we have named him "Cow". He is pretty cute and the class has been excellent at quietly helping me introduce him to everyone. They have been feeding and watering him and talking to him a lot so that "he can be our friend."
