It was a busy one! Despite the rain, we still got outside quite a bit. We also got to do a lot of play inside. Miss Kathy came yesterday and today and we worked mostly inside with balls, throwing and aiming, galloping, hopping and we really enjoyed playing with our new NRCCS peer/helpers! We celebrated a birthday and got to light our first birthday lantern of the school year! We did some science experiments with fizzy dough (flour, baking soda, oil and droppers of vinegar!)
This morning, everyone practiced letters and shapes with a fun shaving cream experiment on the table. We are working a lot on personal space and how to act with our bodies around others. It is important to practice these expectations daily, so we have been doing some puppet shows to act out the right ways to act. The class has really gotten into it. Check out the photos below!
