Markers and a Mess

Happy Friday to all!! Today we colored a little differently then we usually do, we colored on the floor, we'll not exactly the floor, on paper, on the floor. I really liked how a fine motor activity can turn into a large motor activity mainly by chancing the location and size of a project. Once we were done with drawing we hung our creation I the window to look at the light coming through the colors on the paper.

After our inside play we headed outside and made a mess! Since our garden is starting to look good we thought we could extend our growing area so the little ones helped me lay out some dirt to get ready for more plants outside of our square garden. Here are a few pictures of their hard work!
