North Routt Community Charter School (NRCCS)
Located right next door to the Preschool, NRCCS is a large part of our educational community. Staff at both schools share ideas and resources to ensure a smooth transition from preschool into kindergarten. Parents from both schools work together on fundraising and staff support through the School Support Team (SST). Students participate in joint programs such as PE with the fifth and sixth graders and library story time with the kindergarteners. The Reggios Emilia philosophy used at the North Routt Preschool complements the Expeditionary Learning Program used at the Charter School. More than 90% of North Routt Preschool graduates go on to attend North Routt Community Charter School. For more information about NRCCS go to www.northroutt.com .
