By: Miss Christa We had a fun morning with the preschoolers today, we took turns placing dirt and water into a small decompostable pot for our baby Fraser Fir that one of our preschooler donated to the school. Before we began our project we read a book and talked about the life cycle of a tree and what they need to grow big and strong, we are looking forward to planting it in the ground outside of our school this spring. By: Miss Christa Today was a beautiful and warm day outside here are a few pictures from the time we spent playing around the playground. By: Miss Christa From tuesday January 21st We had a fun morning with the preschoolers we played the large drum and made it sound like rain by softly tapping the drum with our hands then we crescendoed into thunder by hitting it harder. Someone had an idea to bounce balls on the drum to see what sound it will make, that was very comical!! Here are some pictures and a video of the excitement!

Today we would like to welcome out newest friend Alden to the Toddler Room, this should be a fun transition for Alden because his older brother is in the preschool classroom. I really enjoy watching siblings interact together and to the comfort and excitement between the two. By: Miss Christa Today was a wonderfully sunny day outside here are a few pictures of our outside fun. By: Miss Christa Today we decided to do some dot painting however it turned into a dot and paint activity. The girls had a lot of fun with their creations! By: Miss Christa Puzzles were a big hit today here are a few pic from our puzzle fun! By: Miss Christa Today it was nice and snowy outside!! Everyone had a great time playing in the gazebo, playing peek-a-boo through the window and making faces in the mirror. Here is a great picture from todays play. Little miss Charlotte and mr Cooper taking turns on the play set. After lunch we all had a chance to slide together what fun!!  |
