Easter Sensory Bag Fun day of sensory play and bike riding!
Easter Matching cards were a big hit today, when I introduced them and gave the toddlers a chance to match up the pairs with the cards face up. After seeing the animals we chose to try and play the matching game we started off with a few pairs then added more each child took turns choosing two cards to see if they had a match. It was a bit confusing at first but the girls figured it out and we had a lot of fun! By: Ms Christa The playground has slowly reappeared and everyone is so excited to be playing in the sand again! As gloomy as it looked outside the temperature was not too bad until the wind came up and cooled us all off. Everyone continued to play but once it started to slightly sleet we all decided that it was time to clean up and go inside, and as soon as we got inside the sleet was really coming down! Sounds like we may get some rain or snow tonight and snow tomorrow I am glad we were able to spend a lot of time outside this morning.
By: Ms Christa Well I was wrong on Monday the warm weather has come and gone and now some cold air has joined us! we What a fun and festively green day we have had here in the toddler room! Today we painted with the colors blue and yellow and guess what they made green when we mixed them together everyone did a great job painting all of their plate! After a very green clean up we spent time stringing lid beads onto string the girls did an amazing job stringing by themselves and I helped Jack to string his on.
It looks like spring may be here to stay! Everyone went outside early today to take advantage of all of the nice weather we are having. All of the preschoolers wanted to ride bikes and a few of them had flat tires so we used a pump to air them up for our preschool friends to use.
By: Ms Christa Happy Thursday we all have had such a busy morning filled with painting projects, ABC puzzles, Yoga with Ms Alex, and sliding on the Charter School sledding hill. Im not sure about the kiddos but boy am I tired!!

Today we talked about St. Patrick's Day, who St. Patrick was himself, and why we celebrate on the day he died. The toddlers don't quite understand however it was a lot of fun to send them on a treasure hunt to find all of the green items we have in the classroom. |
