What a Jumptastic Day!!

We have a lot of fun jumping off of the gazebo!
Some Colorado Early Learning and Development Guidelines included here are:

Gross Motor: The developing ability to move the large muscles.
Recognition of Ability: The developing understanding that the child can take action to influence the environment.
Impulse Control: Respond positively to choices and limits set by an adult to help control their behavior.
Health: Demonstrate the stamina and energy to participate in daily activities.

Fun in the sun is an understatement this afternoon!!

Health: Demonstrate the stamina and energy to participate in daily activities.
Recognition of Ability: Experiment with different ways of making things happen.
Cause-and-Effect: Combine simple actions to cause things to happen.

Here are some pics from last week at lunch time. All of our friends were happy to be eating! :)

Fine Motor: Hold small objects in one hand and sometimes use both hands together to manipulate objects.
Interaction with Adults: The developing ability to respond to and engage with adults.
Interaction with Peers: Engage in simple back-and-forth interactions with peers for short periods of time.

On Wednesday morning we had a lot of fun singing and dancing with Ms. Hannah! A few friends joined one of the parents for a book. :)

We would like to Welcome Jayda to the toddler classroom! The kiddos were really interested in Mr. Buttons, so we let him out to hop around the playground. :)
