Today we focused on fine motor play with our new friend!

Today was Jack B's first day at the North Routt Preschool, the girls had a very fun time welcoming and showing him the way around the school!

Happy crazy day before christmas vacation!! Today we did some more exploring of new tools around the classroom, we received a new table and chairs, a new bean bag and some wooden foods shared by the preschoolers. Miss Kathy brought lots of fun toys for us to exercise with, everyone danced and played so hard! I hope everyone has a great Christmas we will see everyone next week!!!

Happy Thursday everyone!!
We have definitely had a great day! Starting the day off right we made cookies with Miss Alex Jade's mother, there was a lot of activity during this time and a lot of excitement but we were able to make some very yummy cookies. After the cookies went into the oven we all headed to the Charter School to join our Kindergarten friends for story time, while there we listened to two books and helped with some riddles the preschoolers really know there colors. After we played outside for a while and ate lunch a Jolly Old Friend came to see us! Yes SANTA came from the North Pole to the Preschool to visit!!! What fun!!!

Hi everyone today I had a meeting in the big city of Steamboat so Miss Kerri Ann played with the little ones for me this morning. Here are the pictures from their fun time, the tops we have recycled from squeeze fruit and veggie smoothies are very fun to play with today they placed a lot of them onto the drum and bounced them so hard they flew off!! I enjoy recycling these lids because we like to use them for both fine and gross motor, today they were focusing on large motor and hand eye control to hit the drum hard and consistently to knock them off, often for fine motor we will use them to bead with. If your child happen to eat these snacks would you save the lids for me? Thank You!

After this fun time they were able to join Miss Melissa and Miss Kathy during PE time and learn about Poland and fun games kids play there. I always enjoy PE and I am sad I missed it! Next week's PE time will be on tuesday because we are closed wednesday through friday for Christmas!!

Today it was just the three of us I had a lot of fun watching these two interact together. We colored for a while and then color matched the lids with the markers, focusing on walking on different materials I have provided a foam sheet that Charlotte instantly remembered making a tunnel with in the past so the tunnel returned!
