By: Miss Christa After we all ate snack we choose to play with some clay, we squished it, we rolled it, we cut it, and we poked it. Most of us were able to created a little piece of art to let dry, after they are dry we will be able to paint them. I was worried that today was a stay in side and be crazy day however the sky allowed us to play outside for a little while before the rain poured down again. While outside we got a little dirty playing in the muddy sand water then we tried to run off all of the sand by chasing each other around the playground. Check out the fun pictures and videos. Hi there happy Tuesday to all, Today we had some distractions while playing outside, we had a few people drop off items for us to put into our yard sale this weekend. Everyone was very curious!! By: Miss Christa Today was a bit of a clean up and weekend prep day outside. Our soaker hose broke and I do not have the convenience of the plants being watered the same time the garden is we took some time to water the outline of the playground just in case we do not get a lot of rain on saturday. The rain showers have been so nice to the garden however it is suppose to get very warm sunday and I really do not want to loose the green bean plants and newly sprouted sunflower seeds. By Miss Christa WOW what a fun day we had today!! We did some many neat things I don't know how to explain it all. First we created birthday crowns by cutting, coloring, and taping them together, well, ok, they just practiced cutting on other paper while I cut them out. Once we were all done we took a walk to show out older friends down the hall, they were excited to see them!! Finally we were able to spend a lot of time outside before the sun got too hot!! I hope everyone had a great day, Happy Birthday COOPER!! By: Miss Christa Happy Friday to one and all!! Today Miss Michelle and I were talking about our gardens and how we wish we had more room to grow. Cooper and Nicolas helped me plant some garlic bulbs that I recoeved from one of our past teachers Miss Kim Heydon, Miss Michelle and I both love garlic and are excited for it to be apart of our garden. As many of you know garlic takes a few years to become large enough to consume, however I look forward to planting more long term items this fall and have the patients to wait for it to grow! Some things I would like to plant this fall would be more garlic, a variety of onions, asparagus, strawberries, raspberries, and if we can find room, rhubarb. We have a small patch of chives growing in our front flower bed if we can establish a proper watering system for the beds I would love to plant more perennial foods there. By: Miss Christa To there happy Thursday, today we ventured out in search of flowers for Mr. Buttons to munch on. We were able to find a lot of clovers near the schools, this made our little bunny friend very happy!! By: Miss Christa This is from Wednesday, While playing outside today we listened to the quiet sound of grass being cut. I know we have not had a lot of problems with insects yet, however the mosquitoes have been showing up lately so while Miss Jill was spending time with us today she also took some time weed-eating all around the school. Thank you Miss Jill for the help and thank you Josh and Susan Boles for donating the weed-eater to the school!!! By: Miss Christa
Hi there welcome to tuesday! Today we spend time playing around our play ground by scooping wet sand and water leftover by the sprinkler. We decided to go for a little walk to the carter school with Miss Jill to drop off some trash. Miss Jill will be hanging out with us the next few days. On our walk we were swarmed with hundreds of small butterflies they tickled our legs as they flew by to find another flower to drink from. |
