By: Miss Christa Happy Friday to all!! Today we colored a little differently then we usually do, we colored on the floor, we'll not exactly the floor, on paper, on the floor. I really liked how a fine motor activity can turn into a large motor activity mainly by chancing the location and size of a project. Once we were done with drawing we hung our creation I the window to look at the light coming through the colors on the paper. After our inside play we headed outside and made a mess! Since our garden is starting to look good we thought we could extend our growing area so the little ones helped me lay out some dirt to get ready for more plants outside of our square garden. Here are a few pictures of their hard work!

By: Miss Christa I had to share so more photos from today we had a lot of fun just playing!! By: Miss Christa Todays interest outside was a board propped up on the gazebo. They went up they went down sometimes at the same time, that was tricky!! what fun it was to play this way. Then Cooper decided to try and balance on the beach ball, He could do that all day!! By: Miss Christa Hey there and happy Wednesday! Today outside we explored nature in out playground, first we looked at rocks and classified then by smooth or bumpy. Nicolas was very interested in all of the bumpy ones. Then everyone watched the ants as they hurry about. By: Miss Christa I was very sad to see that our young tomato plant was hurt by the frost we had Sunday night! I am hopeful it will come back because some of the lower leaves are still broad and green and the branches are fine too. Only time will tell if we lost the little tomato that was starting to grow. By: Miss Christa Green was the color of the day, we have slowly been creating garden plots inside and with the green paint on green paper we are one step closer to our final product. Today they started out slow then got silly about the paint a little here a lot there!! Too much fun!! By: Miss Christa Thursday's fun outdoors time included planting our tomato plant in our garden. Cooper and Nicolas helped me dig a large hole for the plant and Charlotte helped me put it into the ground. By: Miss Christa Boy are these Toddlers helpful!! while outside I noticed a window screen that needed repair so I recruited some help! They Made sure the screen did not blow away in the wind by sitting on it. Nicolas my Mr Fix it helped me at one point to push the spline back into place. By: Miss Christa This week we are continuing to learn about gardening and the outdoors. We explored our garden this morning and saw that We Have Radishes and Peas coming up!! Since we did not get a chance to plant our sunflowers outside yet I am wanting to do that either this week or early next week, I feel like they are almost strong enough to endure the elements. |
