By: Miss Christa Happy Friday to one and all!! Today Miss Michelle and I were talking about our gardens and how we wish we had more room to grow. Cooper and Nicolas helped me plant some garlic bulbs that I recoeved from one of our past teachers Miss Kim Heydon, Miss Michelle and I both love garlic and are excited for it to be apart of our garden. As many of you know garlic takes a few years to become large enough to consume, however I look forward to planting more long term items this fall and have the patients to wait for it to grow! Some things I would like to plant this fall would be more garlic, a variety of onions, asparagus, strawberries, raspberries, and if we can find room, rhubarb. We have a small patch of chives growing in our front flower bed if we can establish a proper watering system for the beds I would love to plant more perennial foods there.
