Happy Wednesday to all, what a fun day we have had, this morning we sang Valentines songs and clapped to the beat, after snack we joined the preschoolers and Miss Michelle in making Valentines Cupcakes. I always enjoy doing baking projects with the kids because there is a scientific process in baking, hands on learning about measuring (mathematics), mixing and string (hand/eye coordination), and last but not least patients! After placing the cupcake mix into the oven we made different colors of frosting to decorate the cupcakes with this afternoon. While the children were helping to stir the colors into the frosting, it was amazing how much frosting "accidentally" got on their fingers. :) It was a great way to kick off our Wednesday Valentine's Day party!!
