By: Miss Christa Hey There All, Welcome to another fun filled week here at the North Routt Preschool Toddler Room!! This week is go week, I have been saying it for a while now but it has finally happened there are seeds in the ground on the toddler side of the playground. With help from two of our toddlers I was able to plant Peas, Green Beans, Spinach, and Radishes this morning. We will Continue to add more as time allows, however now the battle of distraction shall begin! We have been having so much fun hunting for worms in our garden that I am afraid that they will have a hard time refraining themselves from digging. This will be short lived and once our produce starts to grow I have a feeling they will loose interest in digging and enjoy watching our plants grow. We started a new project recently, it is an indoor garden first we finger painted the dirt onto a large piece of paper next we will glue it on to a piece of green paper and as time goes on we will be adding little flowers and plants. Im not sure where it may lead to but I can't wait to see the final project. I just love their curiosity in everything we do.
