In prep for Easter this week, we planted wheatgrass and dyed eggs! The class had a blast dying and decorating the eggs and taking care of the grass all week. We have a lot of plants growing in our classroom right now, so everyone is really into watering, observing and checking on the plants every day! I cannot wait to really get our garden going as well. We have had lots of fun this week! The first part of the week we studied shells and strung shells and beads for our new chandelier! Check it out in the community room! The class is really excited about what else we can string for more decorations!
Our seedlings our growing quickly and our new celery and sweet potato experiments are really exciting. We cannot wait until the sprout! Plus, our greenhouse seedlings sprouted! We have been visiting them daily to watch the progress. 
We also really enjoyed yoga this week with Miss Alex!

Hello!
It has been a bust few weeks here at NRP!
We have been enjoying these last few days of flurries on our skis and on the sledding hill! We have also been enjoying the promise of spring with our seedlings sprouting in the main classroom and our greenhouse round 1 (greens only) planted last week!

The class has had a wonderful time observing the seeds and measuring their growth by the day.

The last few weeks we have been enjoying getting outside skiing and also visits from Miss Alex, who will be teaching us Yoga weekly for the next few months! We have also been working on a lot of fine-motor skills with art. Check out yoga, mono printing, our lemon volcano (color mixing project) and skiing below!
