Last Friday, the Toddler and Preschool class combined for an adventurous trip to the Clark Store. We put on our muck boots, tromped through some mud and enjoyed spending time with some new friends!

On Tuesday, we ventured up to Home Ranch and met with Ms. Allison and Ms.Laura and went exploring in the greenhouse. We fed the chickens a special desert of dried worms and fetched the daily eggs! We tasted PURPLE snap peas which were our favorite! We visited with the pigs, donkey, horses and ranch dog. We ended our visit with some sprinkler fun! One of the preschool parents brought in their baby chicks to visit with us! We were so lucky to meet the babies but we had to be very gentle with them. It was a fun and interesting experience for all. :)
We've been riding our bikes outside a lot lately since the weather has been more consistent. :)

Back in April, the preschoolers were really interested whether or not worms could live inside or not? So we asked them a few questions and decided to bring a few inside to live! Some of the questions that were asked were,
Where do worms live? -"Under the soil"(XL), "in the soil."(AR). What do worms eat? -"They drink water". (XL) -"Worms eat healthy too!".(XL) -"Worms eat newspaper". (WE),(WG) -"Worms eat apples and bananas".(SG) What else is underground? -"Fossils live underground!". (OB) We've been busy cooking in our "mud kitchen" on the playground! The preschoolers have been very busy making mud pies, cupcakes, and muffins to share with all of their friends.
