Animals in Winter

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had an amazing weekend! The preschoolers and I talked about animals that we see during the winter months. We started off by reading a book called "Old Bear" that was about a bear hibernating during winter. The kids were very interested in bears, so I asked them to tell me all they knew about these fury creatures. Daniel told me that bears like to eat blueberries and Delia said bears live in caves. Next we sang a song called "Are you sleeping, little bear?" We got up and marched around, but later decided to pretend to be bears! We even made a bear cave using sheets and chairs. I love the imagination these guys have!
