Hello everyone! I wanted to start off thanking everyone that participated in the program at the charter school last night! The kids and I had a lot of fun and I hope it was very educational for the parents. Today, the preschoolers and I traveled over to the charter school for another day of buddy reading! I love seeing the interactions between preschoolers and third and fourth graders! We also took advantage of the nice weather outside today by being outdoors as much as possible. I had a plan to make tin can phones and letting the kids learn from them, but of course I forgot my two cans at home (for the second day in a row). Total failure on my part! Luckily, the preschoolers always find an activity that will allow them to learn something. For example, we played in the kitchen area today and started talking about healthy foods verses non healthy foods. I learned that the North Routt preschoolers believe pizza is a very healthy food for you :) I truly wish they were right!! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
