This week, we spent some time exploring colors! We practiced sorting colors and shapes and we practiced mixing paints! We read the book Mouse Paint and then used sandwich bags to mix blue with another color (some students chose yellow some chose pink!) to make a new color (green and purple!) then we squeezed them onto pallets and made some awesome art work with our very own colors! We have also been focusing on patterns. The kiddos have been stringing bead patterns, coloring patters and building block patterns. There is never a shortage of fun here!
Miss Kathy brought in her Mr. Bones skeleton and we sang bone songs and practiced bending, bouncing and balancing! Check out the photos below to see some of the tricks the kiddos came up with! Also, HAPPY FIRST SNOW! We even brought some inside to inspect more closely... Stay warm everyone!
