Planting Trees

Today at preschool we had a very special learning experience. Delia and her family were nice enough to donate a tree that we could plant and keep here at school. Before getting started, we decided to read a book that showed us how trees grow and what they need to stay alive. It was a lot of fun reading and learning, but their favorite part of this project was getting dirty! After putting the tree in a pot, we went outside to discuss where we should transport the tree once it's big and strong enough to be moved outdoors.
