This week we have been talking a lot about snowmen!
We made Oobleck on Monday and many of the kiddos rolled their Oobleck into balls and built tiny snowmen in the sensory table. From there, we have been reading a lot of snow books! Frosty the Snowman, A Snowy Day, Santa Cows...it has been awesome! We also added a new buddy to our classroom as we celebrated Theo's third birthday this week! The whole class is really excited to welcome him into our daily routine. Yesterday, Miss Kerri Ann worked with the class to cut out circles and glue some snowmen together on paper. They had a blast! Today, we built a snowman on the ground outside! We didn't have the right temps or snow for the actual snowman, so we drew circles on the ground, filled them with snow and built him flat! We have also been measuring the amaryllis twice a week and keeping a chart of its growth! Its growing fast!! Check out the photos below to see what we've been up to.
